Wondering where to check out this year's fireworks Display?  Here is a list of the city's happenings:

Denver: Coors Field It's a real American tradition, baseball and fireworks. The Colorado Rockies are at home this year and are planning fireworks on both Friday the 3rd and Saturday the 4th. The Rockies are playing the Arizona Diamondbacks. Fireworks follow both games and are easily visible throughout the city. Edgewater is celebrating Independence Day early.  The fireworks show is scheduled for Friday, July 3rd at Citizens Park. Food vendors open their stands at 4:00 p.m. and the Edgewater volunteer firefighters will set off fireworks when it gets dark, likely sometime between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Erie: Colorado National Speedway will host a two day 4th of July Extravanganza on Friday, July 3rd and Saturday the 4th. It will launch fireworks following the races on both nights.

The Colorado National Golf Course also in Erie will open to the public for an early fireworks display on Friday the 3rd. The fields open at 5 p.m. and fireworks will be launched after dark in what organizers are promising will be one of the largest shows along the Front Range.

Glendale returns to its tradition of celebrating the 4th of July early.
It will host its fireworks display on Friday the 3rd. The display is returning to its traditional spot at the corner of Cherry and Virginia. Dahlia and Leetsdale offers a great view of the display set for sunset.
 
Henderson will welcome singer-songwriter Michael Martin Murphy for the 4th of July weeekend. He's hosting Michael Martin Murphey's Mile High Rendezvous which runs from July 3rd through July 5th. They'll shoot off the fireworks on Friday the 3rd at about 9:15 p.m. You'll find the Rendezvous at the Mile High Flea Market at I-76 and 88th Ave. just north of Denver. Lakewood is not only celebrating the 4th of July this year, it's also celebrating its 40th birthday. That means fireworks come early on Friday the 3rd. They'll be launched at 9:30 p.m. at the Jefferson County Sports Stadium. And there's plenty of fun before the fireworks, the "birthday party" starts at 4 p.m. with lots of fun and games for everyone.

The Green Gables Country Club in Lakewood also has its traditional fireworks display on Friday the 3rd. Members may watch the display from the club. Others can view the display from side streets and surrounding areas.

Littleton: Hudson Gardens will celebrate Independence Day with a two day party.  On Friday the 3rd, Flash Cadillac will perform and there will be fireworks after the concert. On the 4th, The Nylons take the stage followed by fireworks.  Both shows begin at 7 p.m. and fireworks are scheduled for about 9:15 p.m. both Friday and Saturday.

Arvada is once again teaming up with KOOL 105 radio for a full afternoon and evening of 4th of July fun. The festivities begin at 3 p.m. at the Lutz/Stengler Sports Complex and features the "Hot Times, Kool Cars" classic car show, a military display, live music and lots of activities for kids. The fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. The Lutz/Stengler Complex is located at 58th and Ralston Road.

Aspen has planned a day-long celebration of the 4th of July beginning a five mile race. There is a parade set for noon followed by a community picnic. Fireworks will be launched over Aspen Mountain at about 9:30 p.m.

Aurora is promising to light up the night with the largest fireworks display in the metro area. The Air Force Academy Band will perform at the 4th of July Spectacular on the west side of the Aurora Municipal Center. There is limited seating there but the fireworks will be visible from the surrounding areas. Fireworks will be launched after dark.

Beaver Creek holds it annual clambake on the 4th of July. The evening holds a concert featuring The Neville Brothers. Fireworks will be launched around 9:15 p.m.

Black Hawk promises to light up the sky as it celebrates the 4th of July. The fireworks should be launched about 9:30 p.m.
And this year you'll be able to gamble the night away because the extended hours for gambling begin on July 2.

Boulder's 4th of July Celebration will again be hosted by Ralphie. It's at Folsom Stadium and festivities include performances from the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra and the Colorado Shakespeare Festival. The gates open at 7 p.m. and the fireworks should start at 9:30 p.m.
 
Breckenridge gets the party started early on the 4th of July, starting the Firecracker Mountain Bike Race. That's followed bya parade and plenty of activities for the family, including dancing, all day long. The fireworks are set for 9 p.m. and will be launched over the Riverwalk Center.
 
Brighton hosts its "Brighten the Brighton" skies at Friendship Park. The evening includes a concert with Chris Daniels & the Kings as well as DJ Tidal Wave. The fireworks are scheduled for 9 p.m.

Broomfield is again holding its 4th of July celebration at the Broomfield County Commons Park. The festivities include a bike parade, pony rides and lots of other activities for children. The Nacho Men will perform beginning at 7 p.m. and the concert is followed by fireworks at about 9:15 p.m.

Brush is finishing up three days of rodeo fun on the 4th of July as the 55th annual Brush Rodeo starts on July 2. On Independence Day, the festivities include a parade beginning at 10 a.m. The rodeo ends with a big bang, a fireworks display courtesy the Brush Volunteer Department on the 4th.


Carbondale is another mountain community that gets up early for the 4th of July, its day starts with the Independence Run & Hike at 7:30 a.m. There's a parade at noon in Redstone and a kids' parade in Carbondale at 4 p.m. The evening includes live music and fireworks after dark.

Castle Rock plans a full evening of 4th of July events, once again at Rhyolite Region Park. The events include a Presentation of Colors and a flyover at 5:15 p.m. The event caters to both adults with 80's music and kids with a Disney Street Team. It's allowed with fireworks after dark.

Commerce City returns to Dick's Sporting Goods Park for its 4th of July. The outdoor festival begins at 5 p.m. at the south end of the park and is followed by soccer, as the Colorado Rapids take on the Chicago Fire. After the game, The Samples will perform and the fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m.

Como is celebrating an old fashioned 4th of July. The day features a parade at 1 p.m., games for kids all day, watermelon eating contest, and a chili feed at 5 p.m. The highlight will be the fireworks display over Roundhouse at dark, put on by the Jefferson Como Fire Protection District.
 
Craig's Independence Day Celebration is a sure hit this year with a variety of events. The July 4th event runs from 7 AM to 1:30 PM.
Bring your appetite for a pancake breakfast. Other activities include helicopter rides, cake and coffee at the new terminal, Honor of the Veterans flag ceremony, and a special presentation military fly-over. Fireworks will go off at 8:45 PM at Moffat County High School.

Creede will begin their Independence Day celebration with a parade down Main Street at 10 a.m. on July 4th. It's also the final day of the Colorado State Mining Competition so enjoy events like spke driving and tomahawk throwing. Fireworks will be set off at dark from the cliffs just north of Creede.

Crested Butte is celebrating the 4th of July with fun, memorable events, music, and of course, fireworks. Start the holiday with the Gothic Run Walk or Crawl and refuel afterwards with the CB Fire Protection District Annual Pancake Breakfast. The parade setps off from Elk Avenue and Sixth Street. Fire trucks will keep the crowd cool at the Wet Zone. You can compete in a variety of contests in a log sawing competition, a pie eating contest and three-legged race. Wrap up the day by watching the fireworks launched from the Warming House in the base area of Mt. Crested Butte, just after dark.
 
Denver's sporting teams are pulling out all the stops for 4th of July. The Denver Outlaws host the evening at Invesco Field at Mile High. The game begins at 7 p.m. Fireworks will be launched after the game and will be visible across the city. And the Colorado Rockies aren't being left out. They host a second night of fireworks at Coors Field following the game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Denver's Green Valley Ranch neighborhood will once again have its own 4th of July celebration. "Stretch 9" starts the evening with a concert starting at 8 p.m. That's followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

Dillon plans to celebrate the 4th of July with a day of music. The concerts begin at 9 a.m. and include the National Repertory Orchestra, Jim Salestrom and Lannie Garret and Her Swingin' Big Band. There are plenty of family-friendly activities including turtle races and a boat parade. The fireworks will be launched over Frisco Bay around 9:30 p.m.

Englewood will celebrate its July 4th events over three parks including Belleview Park, Cornerstone Park, and Progress Park. A fishing derby begins at 8:00 a.m. at Progress, but the other two parks will hold the majority of the festivities. Beginning at 10:00 a.m., there will be mini-golfing for a small fee and a miniature train ride and a farm for children for $1 admission. Activities go on throughout the rest of the day including field games for the family, bounce castles, face-painting, and other activities for children. There will be food, contests, and live music for entertainment, and the day ends with a fireworks show launched from the baseball fields from Cornerstone Park at 9:30 p.m.

Estes Park gets you ready for a fun-filled 4th of July celebration with a pancake breakfast. The day also includes a vintage car show at Bond Park and the Arabian Sport Horses Championship at the fairgrounds at Stanley Park. There 's a concert set for Performance Park Amphitheater and fireworks will be launched over Lake Estes after dark.

Fairplay has a full day of activities scheduled on Independence Day.There will be a dog show around noon, a parade that begins at 3:00 p.m. and a street dance at 6:30 p.m. Throughout the day, there will be a barbeque and activities for the little ones like a bouncy castle for children for free. Everythings centered around Front and 6th Streets. Fireworks are scheduled for dark.

Firestone starts its 4th of July with pancake breakfast and the day includes a parade as well as a ceremony to honor veterans and service members. The fireworks will be launched from the Saddleback Golf Club around 9:45 p.m.

Fort Collins will hosts its fireworks display at City Park once again this year. You'll find plenty to keep the kids and the rest of the family busy in downtown Fort Collins and the Fort Collins Sympony will perform at Civic Center Park. Fireworks will be launched at about 9:30 p.m.

Frisco says it is planning a Fantasatic 4th of July which includes a fishing derby for children and square dancers. There's a parade scheduled for noon. The afternoon includes all sorts of music, food and fun to keep everyone occupied. The fireworks will be launched over Frisco Bay about 9 p.m.

Georgetown will be celebrating the 4th of July from dawn until dusk this year. The day kicks of with a 5K race and stroll at 8 a.m..
It's will be followed by a parade at 11 a.m. the a BBQ at noon. You can pass the time until the fireworks with bingo at the community center. Fireworks will be launched at dusk.

Glenwood Springs will be celebrating Independence Day all day long with the FanFair from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the downtown. There will be street performers, live music, and a play place for the kids. After 4 p.m., the fun moves to Two Rivers Park with the Symphony in the Valley performing at 7 p.m. Fireworks will be launched at dusk and the best vantage point is right there in the park.

Golden is ready for another day of 4th of July celebrations thanks once again the Lions Club. You'll find all the fun at Lions Park which is at 10th and Maple Streets. The club is giving back to the community once again, giving free rides for kids. Be sure to pick up a raffle ticket which is a major fundraiser for the Golden Lions. After the afternoon and evening of fun and music, stay for the fireworks set for around 9:30 p.m.

Granby is promising the "Biggest Small Town Parade" for the 4th of July. It steps off at 10:30 a.m. Then stick around for a BBQ. After lunch it's time to head to the Flying Heels Rodeo, the adult finals are at 7 p.m. Fireworks will be launched over the rodeo grounds between 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Grand Lake is having its traditional fireworks display over the lake on July 4th. Fireworks will be launched from a barge in the middle of the lake and are scheduled to begin at sunset.

Grand Junction is throwing its 4th of July party at Suplizio Stadium. The gates open at 7:15 p.m. If you want to sit in the stadium there is a charge although children under two are free. The fireworks will be launched from Lincoln Park at 9:45 p.m.

Greeley has big plans for the 4th of July, thanks in part to the Greeley Stampede. The day begins with a parade down 10th Avenue. It steps off at 9 a.m. The finals of the pro rodeo events are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Blake Shelton and Bucky Covington perform at 8 p.m. and fireworks follow the concert.

Greenwood Village and Fiddler's Green will be the place to be for a classic 4th of July celebration. The Colorado Symphony Orchestra will perform a Sounds of American concert, ranging from patriotic music to songs from "West Side Story" and "Apollo 13." The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. with fireworks being launched after dark.
 
Gunnison will have fireworks courtesy the Rotary Club. The day begins with a hot air balloon festival followed by a community block party.
The younger residents of Gunnison will show off with a bike parade at 2 p.m. which starts in downtown and ends in Joregensen Park. That's where adults will find a beer garden and a concert at 6 p.m. Fireworks should be launched from the park around 9:30 p.m.

Highlands Ranch will have a fireworks display starting at 9:15 p.m. The fireworks will launch directly across from Town Center at the intersection of Highlands Ranch Parkway and Blake Dr. Great places to watch the show are Highlands Ranch Town Center and Civic Green Park.

Holyoke will end a daylong celebration with a fireworks show at dusk around 9:30 at City Park. Before there will be free swimming at the pool, games, the steak fry cook-off, and stock car races.

Idaho Springs is launching its fireworks around 9 p.m. from Bridal Veil Falls. A great place to watch will be City Hall but space usually fills up fast.

Indian Hills plans a day of 4th of July activities including a chance to check out an Airlife helicopter and a parade at 10 a.m. Then settle in for music beginning at 8 p.m. and the fireworks will be launched at dusk, which is expected to be about 9:20 p.m.

Leadville will celebrate the 4th of July with a fireworks display beginning at dusk near the courthouse lawn. The day also includes a bluegrass festival.

Limon is planning an afternoon of Independence Day traditions including a picnic and BBQ. The events will happen at Gaskill Field. Fireworks will be launched from the field after dark.

Lone Tree hosts its 12th Annual Independence Day Celebration this year. The parade is set for 4 p.m. followed by concerts and plenty of activities to keep everyone occupied until the fireworks begin. The display is set to be launched aabout 9:15 p.m.

Longmont starts its Independence Day Celebration at noon in Thompson Park with a performance from the Longmont Symphony Orchestra. The fireworks will be launched from the Boulder County Fairgrounds at 9:30 p.m.

Louisville is holding its 4th of July celebration at the Coal Creek Golf Course. Food and activities begin at 6 p.m. with fireworks launched at dark.

Loveland will celebrate the 4th of July in North Lake Park beginning at 11 a.m. There will be plenty of music with the Sweetheart City Cloggers performing as well as Above Treeline and The Indulgers. The Loveland Concert Band presents the Star Spangled Spectacular at 8 p.m., a concert of patriotic music culminating in "Stars and Stripes Forever" at the beginning of the fireworks show. The fireworks will be launched just after 9:15 p.m.

Keystone has an all-day celebration beginning with the annual bike parade at 10:30 a.m. That's followed by the River Frontier Fair at the River Run Village from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Fireworks will be launched from the Lakeside Village after dark.

Kremmling will hold its 4th of July celebration in Town Square Park at 6 p.m. with a BBQ and live music. Fireworks will be launched after dark.

Meeker starts their July 4th celebration with a 5k walk/run at 7 a.m. Refuel with a pancake breakfast to get ready for the parade at 10 a.m.
The food and fun continues all day culminating in the fireworks display at dark. Anyone with energy left after that day is invited to the barn dance.

Morrison's 4th of July excitement is again centered on Bandimere Speedway. Racing begins at 7:30 a.m. and lasts all day. Fireworks will be launched after dark and when the races end.

Nederland is taking its 4th of July party to Barker Reservoir. The fireworks will be launched around 9 p.m.

Northglenn hosts its annual 4th of July Family Festival at E.B. Raines Park. The day begins with a flag raising ceremony at 7 a.m. followed by a pancake breakfast. There will be all sorts of great food and fun, including a parade, throughout the day. Fireworks are scheduled to be launched at 9:30 p.m.

Parker's 4th of July festivities begin at 2 p.m. at the corner of Pine and Main Street. The event will feature food vendors, kids activities, bounce houses, balloon animals, craft vendors and live music. Parker plans to launch its fireworks at 9:30 p.m.

Salida is throwing its Independence Day party in Riverside Park. It starts at 1 p.m. and there is a parade set for 4 p.m. Fireworks will be launched from Tenderfoot Mountain at dusk.

Silverthorne knows where to be the for the 4th of July, Lake Dillon. Fireworks will be launched over the lake at dusk on Saturday the 4th.

Steamboat Springs celebrates Independence Day in true wild west fashion, with a rodeo. The events on Saturday the 4th include a pancake breakfast, concerts, parade, the rodeo all followed by a fireworks display after dark. And get up early Sunday to catch the cattle drive down Lincoln Ave to Romick Arena.

Sterling will host a Heritage Festival on the 4th of July at Overland Trail Museum. The community is celebrating its 125th year so look for the "then and now" exhibit. Fireworks will be launched at Pioneer Park at dusk.

Thornton is hosting the Longmont Symphony Orchestra for its second performance of the day. The orchestra will be playing at the Multipurpose Field beginning at 8 p.m. Fireworks will follow at 9:30 p.m.

Vail starts its 4th of July celebration with the Red, White, and Blue Parade in downtown. Then head to Ford Park for an afternoon of picnicking and music or check out the clambake in Beaver Creek. Top off the day with fireworks which are set to launch around 9:45 p.m.

Wellington starts its 4th of July fun with a parade at 10 a.m. You can pass the time at the car show from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. in Centennial Park, you'll find plenty of food and fun along with the cars. Fireworks will be launched at dusk with great viewing from Eyestone Elementary School.

Westminster
 opens the gates at City Park for the 4th of July party at 6 p.m. There will be a concert with plenty of food available. Fireworks will be launched at dusk.

Windsor hosts its 4th of July celebration at Windsor Lake beginning with a concert at 7:30 p.m. Last Minute Grove will perform. The city is planning on setting off fireworks at 9:20 p.m.

Winter Park will host its 4th of July celebration at the Fraser Valley Sports Complex. The day includes a community picnic and free children's carnival. Fireworks will be launched after dark.
