Question and Answer Session on Health Insurance Reform with Congresswoman DeGette

Dianna DeGette would like to invite you to a “Question and Answer Session on Health Insurance Reform” on Saturday, September 12th at 10:00 a.m. at South High School in Denver. Get there early – doors open at 9:15 a.m. Come learn about the health insurance bill pending before Congress and ask any questions you may have.

She returned to Washington, D.C. earlier this week ready to tackle health insurance reform. After a busy August recess that included holding two telephone town halls, two Q & A sessions, a television and radio town hall, a Facebook chat, and hearing from constituents across Denver, I have a better idea of your views and am ready to fight hard to make sure comprehensive health insurance reform is passed.

As the President noted, this is about stability and security for millions of Americans who have health insurance, and providing affordable coverage for those who do not. No one should have to stay in a job because he or she is afraid of losing her health insurance. No one should go bankrupt because he or she is diagnosed with cancer and can’t obtain insurance.
